Joe & Kathy Amos
The iBud (International Black Urban Development) Foundation is a private foundation established to aid in funding and providing resources to black owned businesses in urban cities and communities around the world.
Kathy Amos, Founder/President struggled and fought as an entrepreneur and minority black-owned businesswoman with little to no support. Many times, she would start her mentoring program and in less than two years she would close the doors due to lack of funding and business-building resources. Kathy won many of her successes at rock bottom through her faith in God and the power of prayer. And having watched many budding entrepreneurs struggle to startup, get branded, incorporated, and legally established as an upright thriving business in their community was all too familiar. Kathy had the honor and privilege of coaching many women who were filled with aspirations of owning their own businesses and becoming successful entrepreneurs. Some were even ready to leave their jobs to start their new venture but oftentimes they simply couldn’t afford to quit.
This is why the iBud Foundation is so vital. There are men and women around the world who struggle like Kathy and are determined to be successful in what they believe is their God-given purpose. When you partner with us, you're making an impact on both our economy and a budding business. Perhaps it could possibly be a seed in manifesting your own vision.
Our vision for iBud is to incubate budding businesses for one to three years until they’re fully able to function as an upright business in good standing with their community and their state. The iBud Foundation will offer the following:
1. New Business Startup Capital through Grants & Scholarships
2. New Business Startup Coaching & Training
3. A Branding Program
